Buhari Orders Arrest of His Wife’s Younger Brother over Fraud
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered Nigeria’s security agents to arrest his brother-in-law for allegedly extorting money from an unnamed businessman, a close confidante of the Nigerian leader told SR. He said the suspect, named Musa Yola, was the immediate younger brother of Buhari’s wife.
The source disclosed that Musa Yola, also addressed as “Alhaji Yola,” reportedly received N300m from a businessman after promising to provide his dupe with political access to secure an oil block from the Buhari administration.
According to our source, Buhari personally ordered last Monday night that Yola be produced before him in handcuffs in the company of the businessman he duped.
After telling the businessman that he was stupid to part with such significant cash when he should know that he, Buhari, would not participate in fraud, the President ordered agents of the State Security Services (SSS) attached to Aso Rock Villa to thoroughly investigate the scam.
He also ordered SSS to ensure that the businessman recovered his money from his brother-in-law.
An SSS source told Sahara Reporters, “Alhaji Yola has refunded the money to the affected businessman,” and added that: “Alhaji Yola has been released on bail.”

Already, two of the students, Dare Olatunji Michael and Aminat Adebayo have been buried. They were buried yesterday. The driver of the commercial bus, Lukman Adekeye has also been laid to rest.

In the process of time, after all that is being planned by the current administration has matured, and bearing fruits, Nigerians will be able to determine who is serving them acceptably, and who has taken them for a ride. It is just a matter of time. Meanwhile, Metuh and his masters can only rue the missed opportunities to make salutary impact on the lives of Nigerians. They have a long road of regrets to travel,” the statement said.

Decomposed Body Of Kidnapped FUTA VC Found Inside Own Compound In Akure
The body of kidnapped former Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Prof. Albert Ilemobade has been found.
Sadly, his body was found this morning in his own compound in Akure at an abandoned store outside the main building where cables are been kept.
The police have so far arrested two persons in connection with the killing, and his gate man that was earlier reported to have been kidnapped with him is now a major suspect.
A source told Sahara reporters that it was later discovered that the gate man and another accomplice decided to kill the elderly man just to steal his new car.
The car had earlier been recovered by the police who found it in Ogun State.

Buhari Has Traced Nigeria's Looted Funds to UK, Switzerland...
The Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has started tracing looted Nigerian funds to foreign nations with the aim of recovering and repatriating them back to the country for the use of all.
The Government specifically targets the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland and other European jurisdictions where it believes corrupt officials have been stashing public funds.
This move came on the heels of the declaration by President Buhari on his first day in Aso Villa office that he inherited an almost empty treasury from his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan, thus vowing that his administration would recover all the looted funds stashed in foreign banks by corrupt Nigerians.

VANGUARD reports that President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday, June 21, plans to totally remove oil subsidy and use the proceeds for the provision of free and compulsory primary/secondary education across the country. This was made known by a source among the transition committee set up by Buhari to work out a blueprint for his administration. The source said the administration is also said to be working on unbundling the NNPC, to make it more efficient in the production and delivery of products to Nigerians.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, which said these proposals form part of the strong recommendations made by the transition committee, also revealed that members of organised labour in the country were consulted by the committee and they made presentations on what should be done over the matter. The source said: “Labour is part of the decision; they have accepted the proposal of fuel subsidy removal.”
The source further revealed that the committee also recommended the unbundling of NNPC to reposition the agency to serve the needs of Nigerians better. He said all refineries in Nigeria are to be made to work at maximum capacity by the federal government to be able to deliver adequate products to the consumers. He added that the FG was set to block all channels of fund leakages in the NNPC, adding that the era of allocating more crude than the refinery in Nigeria was over, as it was discovered that the policy encouraged corruption and diversion of funds.
