Amaechi Gets Awkward 50th Birthday Greeting

Controversial governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi clocks 50 today.

The politician got tons of congratulatory messages wishing him a more fruitful years but one congratulatory advert on Vanguard newspaper this morning  got everyone talking. In the hilarious advert, the governor was dressed like a warrior with a broom as his sword and the All Progressives Congress’s logo by his boot. The ‘gallant governor’ was tagged ‘a dogged warrior’ in the advert piece. The advert was placed by Phrank Shaibu, coordinator, Public Communications And Strategy.

The advert piece also eulogized the incumbent governor of Rivers State, while dissing the outgoing president Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience. It reads:

"The Lion of Ubima,

The nemesis of Jesus of Otueke and her baby Jesus of the rock,

Change ambassador extraordinaire,

Finest DG of presidential campaigns,

I throway salute.

May your 50th be truly golden, my dearest boss"
