Billionaire ex-militant and former die-hard loyalist of President Goodluck Jonathan, Ayiri Emami has decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Emami can be seen in a photo going round the internet and social media where the ex-militant is pictured together with the national leader of the APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Emami, who doubles as Chairman of the Delta Waterways Security Committee, DWSC, joined the APC in Delta State on Wednesday.
A visibly elated Chief Emami, who once led PDP in Warri South-West Local Government Area, displayed his new APC card, after announcing his defection at his counteu home in Ubeji, near Warri.
He called on his kinsmen to vote for the APC’s governorship candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, in Saturday’s governorship election.
