National telecommunications company, Globacom, has declared support for the Flying Eagles ahead of the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup scheduled to hold in New Zealand between May 30 and June 20.
In a press statement in Lagos on Thursday, Globacom stated that the Flying Eagles needed maximum support from Nigerians in their quest to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup for the first time.
The company wrote, “Our focus from the onset should be on securing qualification ticket from the group, thus ensuring that the team moves to the quarter finals from where they can compete for medals.
“We urge the Flying Eagles to give good account of themselves as the reigning African champions. They should make Nigeria and Africa proud during the competition by winning the trophy.”
Globacom therefore advised the team to play top grade friendly matches and work very hard to ensure that they remain in shape ahead of the competition.
