LAGOS PDP IMPEACHES STATE CHAIRMAN

The Lagos State Chapter of the People's Democratic Party has sacked its Chairman, Capt. Tunji Shelle over the failure of the party to deliver on the people's mandate for a Change in Lagos State.

Reasons for the impeachment allegedly include anti-party activities,
undemocratic activities and corruption. A close source revealed that the EFCC has been petitioned to commence investigation of the Chairman.

"Lagos PDP is undergoing a new era of democracy starting with the need to expunge all saboteurs, spies and fake party members. We will not condone corrupt leaders, we will pave the way for the youths and be a truly democratic party in Lagos State"    a member of the working committee stated.

With this new development perhaps PDP leadership at the centre (Mu'azu) will take a cue to resign honorably to allow the next generation of PDP, devoid of any corrupt element to prepare our Nation Nigeria for greater heights.
