Togo and Tottenham Hotspur striker, Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed he would be a dead man by now if not for the intervention of his sister, Iyabo Adebayor.

The football star released a new 1, 649-word post on his Facebook account today, May 20, 2015, claiming he almost took his own life but for the intervention of his sister who convinced him not go down that route. Adebayor said he was so overwhelmed and simply tired of life after his elder brother, Kola accused him of being responsible for the death of his other brother, Peter in 2013.

‘Many times I wanted to give up. Ask my sister, Iyabo Adebayor how many times I have called and was ready to commit suicide in 2013,’ he wrote in a post on his account today, the latest in a series of revelations concerning his family troubles.

Emmanuel Adebayor, whose well documented family issues became public first in 2014, is on a mission to reveal all on social media, promising to hold nothing back among the ordeals he has allegedly suffered from his own family members.
