Wanted: Husband and wife believed to have fled country after attempted murder in London

Patrick and Constance Adams
An international manhunt has been launched for a husband and wife believed to have fled the country after an attempted murder.

Patrick Adams, aged 59, and Constance Adams, 54, are thought to have left the country for Holland or Spain soon after a man was shot in the chest in London 18 months ago.

The shooting happened at around 10am on December 22, 2013.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, was sitting in his black BMW X5 in Wyclif Street, Islington, at the junction with St John Street, when he was approached by a man and a woman.

The man shot him in the chest.
The victim had to stay in hospital for over a month being treated for life-threatening injuries, but was eventually discharged.
European Arrest Warrants have now been obtained for the Adams', and detectives urged anyone with any information on where they are living to come forward.
I am appealing for anyone with information about where the Adams' are living to contact us as a matter of urgency. It is apparent by the nature of this violent crime that they need to be traced and interviewed by police.
We treat any information that is passed to us with the greatest of confidence.
