The Wrecking Ball singer also unveiled her Backyard Sessions as part of the launch, a collection of music video collaborations with artists including Joan Jett, Laura Jane Grace, Melanie Safka and Ariana Grande.

The videos will be posted on Facebook, and will have a donate feature that will allow fans and well-wishers support the cause.

“Pointless judgment and its effects are unfortunately something that is way to common,” Cyrus said in her announcement.

“All humans have valid feelings and rights! I want to use my voice as a megaphone to young people everywhere and encourage human evolution.

“No one should have to hide who they really are, no matter what his or her name, gender or status.”
